The real reason for earthquakes

All this time I’ve been under the mistaken belief that fault lines between tectonic plates under the earth’s crust are the reason for earthquakes and other natural disasters. Turns out I’m wrong.

Very wrong.

According to an Iranian cleric it’s because:

Many women who do not dress modestly lead young men astray and spread adultery in society which increases earthquakes

How foolish do I feel now? It’s so bloody obvious when you think about it; I always suspected women and not money were the root of all evil, and here’s the proof, right there in black and white masquerading as “news”.

And people have the audacity to bemoan the state of journalism.
