Internet search rule number one: be precise in your search terms or you might get back things more random than expected.
Went browsing Wikimedia Commons today for pictures of ‘big things’ to accompany an article about Big Data on a website. After refining my search a little to weed out the cruft I stumbled upon a category labelled “Giant objects”. Perfect, or so it seemed as I clicked the link:
Although it did indeed contain pictures of said large objects, I left the category empty handed, as I wasn’t sure the website owner would relish a photograph of a novelty cheque, colossal bass drum or giant-sized paella!
