Newfangled technology brings out the worst in people on the idiot box.
It always tickles me when people on TV try to be all cool and trendy using buzzwords, yet clearly don’t have a clue. For example, when someone like Jeremy Paxman — the smug, know-it-all question master on University Challenge — makes reference to:
…all the people Twittering on the Internet…
Ummm, Jezzer, I think you mean Tweeting. I’ve never used Twitter but I know that. Bottom of the class, yer wazzock.
